What is life clarity?
Life clarity is the calm, organised feeling that comes from knowing the people you love can find their way around your life — not just your finances or your legal documents, but the small everyday things that make a household run, the wishes you hold quietly, and the details that would slip through if you weren't there to point to them.
Four parts of a well-ordered life.
Most people start with one and find the rest follow.
The practical
Where things live. The deeds, the will, the password to the home wifi, the buildings insurance renewal date.
The personal
What matters to you. The way you take your tea, the song, the people, the photograph that means more than it looks.
The emotional
What you'd want said. The things you'd want known, the memories you don't want lost, the family story that lives only in your head.
The everyday
The small things. Who feeds the cat. The plumber you actually trust. The recipe your mum used to make.
Made to be used, not filed away.
Beautifully made
Linen-bound, gently weighted, built to live on the shelf. A book worth opening — not a folder you'll lose track of.
Gently structured
Prompts that feel closer to journalling than admin. Life-led, not crisis-led — so you'll actually fill it in.
For both of you
Designed for couples and thoughtful households. Fill it in together over a few quiet evenings, or alone and share later.
What you'll find when you open it.
JINC is structured around the four parts of life clarity. Each chapter is short, gently prompted, and easy to come back to.
- Where things liveThe deeds, the will, the keys, the documents that matter — all in one calm place.
- The household machineBills, providers, renewals, and the small fixes only you remember how to do.
- What matters to youThe people, the photographs, the songs, the small everyday rituals.
- Things you'd want knownMemories, family stories, the wishes you hold quietly.
- For the people closestNames, numbers, who to call, who already knows what.
- Space to addLined and unlined pages for the things we couldn't anticipate.
How JINC began
JINC began at home, before a major operation. After years of painful periods I was finally diagnosed with adenomyosis — endometriosis' lesser-known twin — and the only option left to give me a normal life was a hysterectomy.
I'm a project manager by trade, so naturally I went into preparation mode. But as I planned for the surgery itself, my mind kept drifting to everything else: the school logins, the bills nobody else paid, the quiet things I did for my family without anyone realising. The tiny details of our everyday life that lived only in my head.
I realised I'd want my family to feel held, not lost — and that felt like a gap worth closing while life was calm. So I made the book I wished existed: beautifully designed, gently structured, life-led rather than crisis-led. JINC is for couples and thoughtful households who want their personal affairs to feel as ordered as their legal ones.

It arrives, beautifully
Wrapped with care, ready to sit on the shelf or open straight away.
Fill it in slowly
An evening here, a Sunday there. There's no rush, and no exam.
A quiet new habit
Keep it where the people who matter can find it. Top it up as life shifts.
The things people often ask.
Is JINC a will?
No. A will is a legal document about who inherits what. JINC sits alongside a will and captures everything a will isn't designed to — where things live, what matters to you, the small details that would otherwise be lost.
Who is JINC for?
Couples and thoughtful households of any age. Some of the clearest-sighted people we know about life clarity are couples in their thirties with a mortgage and a young child — though it's just as useful at any other stage.
How long does it take to fill in?
You can do a meaningful first session in about thirty minutes. Most people then fill it in slowly over a few quiet evenings or weekends. There's no right pace.
Can a couple share one book?
Yes — many couples do, and it works beautifully as a shared household project. If you'd prefer one each, JINC is also designed to work that way.
Is there a digital version?
JINC is intentionally a physical book. The whole point is that it lives somewhere findable, on a shelf the people closest to you know about — not behind a password only one person knows.
Do I need to fill in the whole book?
Not at all. Most people start with one of the four parts of life clarity and let the rest follow. Even a partly-filled JINC is a real gift to the people around you.

Before looking through JINC, I assumed we were fairly organised. But once I went through the sections, I realised how much information was scattered.

When I trialled JINC, I didn't expect to feel emotional, but it made me think about how much I carry mentally. Writing things down properly felt like lifting some of that weight.
