Is JINC a will?
No. A will is a legal document about who inherits what. JINC sits alongside a will and captures everything a will isn't designed to — where things live, what matters to you, and the small everyday details that would otherwise be lost.
Is there a digital version?
JINC is intentionally a physical book. The whole point is that it lives somewhere findable — on a shelf the people closest to you know about — not behind a password only one person can access.
Can a couple share one book?
Yes — many couples do, and it works beautifully as a shared household project. If you'd prefer one each, JINC is designed to work that way too.
How long does it take to fill in?
You can do a meaningful first session in about thirty minutes, then fill it in slowly over a few quiet evenings or weekends. There's no right pace, and no exam.
Do I need to fill in the whole book?
Not at all. Most people start with one section and let the rest follow. Even a partly-filled JINC is a real gift to the people around you.
