We want your JINC journal to feel right. This policy explains cancellations, returns, refunds, faulty items and our 30-day peace of mind guarantee.

Our approach

JINC is designed to bring clarity and reassurance. If something is not right with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to help quickly and fairly.

Your right to cancel

If you buy from us online, you normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

After telling us you wish to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to return the item.

To cancel, email enquiries@j-in-c.co.uk with your name, order number and a brief note confirming that you wish to cancel.

30-day peace of mind guarantee

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 30-day peace of mind guarantee.

If your JINC journal does not bring the clarity or reassurance you expected, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund.

To qualify, the journal must be returned in original, unused condition. We cannot accept returns of journals that have been written in or used.

Returning your item

Before returning your journal, please email enquiries@j-in-c.co.uk so we can confirm the return details.

Please include:

  • Your name
  • Your order number
  • The reason for return, if you are happy to share it

Items should be packaged carefully so they arrive back to us in good condition.

Return postage

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot refund items that are lost on their way back to us.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will confirm whether your refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

If you paid for standard delivery, this will be refunded where required by law. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, only the standard delivery amount may be refunded.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your journal arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Email enquiries@j-in-c.co.uk with your order number and photographs of the issue where possible.

If the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will offer a replacement or refund, and we will cover reasonable return postage where a return is required.

Items we cannot refund

We cannot accept returns or refunds for:

  • Journals that have been used or written in
  • Items returned damaged due to poor return packaging
  • Digital downloads once accessed or downloaded, where applicable
  • Gift cards, where applicable

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described.

Faulty goods and statutory rights

Under UK consumer law, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

If an item is faulty, you may have the right to reject it within 30 days and receive a refund.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
