The JINC app is being designed as its quiet companion: a private, secure place to keep your journal's details current, gently remind you when something needs a fresh look, and hold a copy of what you've written — just in case.

A journal is filled in once and topped up gently. Life, meanwhile, keeps changing. The app minds the gap:
- Your pages, safely kept — photograph your filled journal pages, so the words are never lost to a house move, a flood, or a very determined toddler.
- Gentle reminders — "your MOT entry is a year old now. Still right?" Written down means off your mind — the app keeps it that way.
- The updates in between — a new plumber, a changed provider, a moved document. Thirty seconds in the app, findable forever.
- Just-in-case sharing — choose one or two trusted people who could request access. There's a waiting period, you're always told, and you can always say no.
Guided like the journal, five minutes at a time — made for full heads and foggy days.
It will never hold your passwords.
The app follows the journal's oldest rule: it records where things live — never the keys themselves. No passwords, no PINs, no account numbers, ever. The most precious thing inside is clarity, not secrets.
